Terms of Use
Last updated: 30 April 2026
1. Purpose
These Terms of Use govern access to and use of the vandoor.fr website, published by VanDOOR France (the "publisher" or "vanDOOR").
The site has an informational and B2B commercial purpose. It allows you to:
- discover the DoorLIFT and VanDOOR AluLIFT range of motorised lift-up doors
- browse and download datasheets, guides and case studies
- submit a contact or quote request to the sales team
- access a spare parts catalogue (no public pricing)
The site is not an online store. Every order is preceded by a tailored quote and dedicated Terms and Conditions of Sale supplied with the quote.
2. Acceptance of the Terms
Using the site implies full acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
The Terms apply to every visitor — prospect, customer, partner, journalist or curious reader.
3. Site availability
The site is freely available 24/7, except during maintenance, upgrades or force majeure events. vanDOOR cannot be held liable for an occasional outage or temporary degraded service.
The user is responsible for the hardware, software and connection required to access the site, and for any related cost.
4. Intellectual property
The entire site (texts, images, technical drawings, videos, 3D models, source code, navigation structure, document base) is protected by copyright, trademark law and database rights.
The trademarks vanDOOR, DoorLIFT, AluLIFT and their logos and distinctive signs are registered trademarks of the Actuall Group. Any use without prior written permission is strictly prohibited and constitutes an infringement punishable under Articles L.335-2 and following of the French Intellectual Property Code.
You are allowed to:
- consult the site for personal or internal business use
- print or download the technical sheets provided, as long as you preserve their integrity (no edits, no removal of copyright notices)
- quote the site with a hyperlink to the source page
You are not allowed to:
- reproduce or redistribute all or part of the site on another medium
- systematically extract data (scraping, automated harvesting)
- use the content for competing or commercial purposes without written agreement
5. Hyperlinks
The site may include links to third-party sites (partners, press articles, external technical resources). vanDOOR does not control these sites and disclaims any responsibility for their content, availability or privacy practices.
Linking to vandoor.fr is allowed provided that:
- it does not create confusion about the origin of the content
- it does not harm the vanDOOR brand image
- it points to the homepage or a public page (no deep linking that hides the origin)
vanDOOR reserves the right to request the removal of a link deemed contrary to these principles.
6. Personal data
The processing of personal data collected through the site is detailed in the Privacy Policy, which the user is invited to review.
7. Cookies
The site uses cookieless audience measurement (Plausible Analytics), which does not require prior consent. No advertising or tracking cookies are dropped. See the Cookie Policy.
8. Limitation of liability
Information published on the site (technical specifications, dimensions, load capacities, applicable standards) is given for information only. It may evolve to reflect product improvements. Only the information appearing in the quote and Terms of Sale prevails in case of order.
vanDOOR makes every effort to ensure the accuracy of information published but cannot guarantee its completeness or absence of error. vanDOOR cannot be held liable for any decision made on the basis of site content without prior validation by a sales contact.
vanDOOR cannot be held liable for indirect damages (loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, commercial damage) arising from use or inability to use the site.
9. Changes to the Terms
vanDOOR may modify these Terms at any time to reflect legal, technical or commercial changes. The version in force is the one published on the site at the date of consultation. The last update date is shown below.
Continued use of the site after a change implies acceptance of the modified Terms.
10. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by French law.
In the event of a dispute, the parties shall first seek an amicable resolution. Failing agreement:
- for disputes with a consumer: the competent courts will be those of the defendant's domicile or the place of contract performance, in line with French Consumer Code provisions
- for B2B disputes: exclusive jurisdiction of the Reims Commercial Court
Since the site addresses a professional clientele (B2B), commercial jurisdiction applies in the vast majority of cases.
