The four guiding blocks (ref. DL-8001254) must be replaced at every annual inspection. They are the highest-frequency consumable in the system — one system = four blocks per year. Replacement is explicitly listed in both ranges' maintenance schedules (DL-6 and AluLIFT). The part is common to both. Keep a few sets in stock at the workshop if you operate more than 5 equipped vehicles.

A door balancer averages 15,000 to 25,000 cycles, i.e. 1.5 to 2 years at 40 cycles/day. The spring fatigues, the wire corrodes and loses effective diameter. Monitor it: if the door takes more force to open than to close, increase tension. If the reverse, reduce it. Past 2 years, schedule a preventive replacement — a spring breaking in service is dangerous and immobilises the vehicle.
